We Met the "At Home With English" Guy!

Last Sunday we went over to the home of Greg Thompson, the mastermind behind the public access show "At Home With English" in Austin, TX (check out the video here). AHWE is an instructional program intended for non-English speakers and ESL students. Greg wrote, produced, and starred in this 8-episode series of strangely entertaining and hypnotic vignettes that even English speakers can appreciate (usually at 2am and drunk). Greg was kind enough to chat with us about the show (which is still on the air in Austin), his famous shirt, and how he is frequently recognized around Austin as the "grammar man." It was the most clearly annunciated conversation we'd ever had.

Notice that he's wearing the same shirt he wore in all the videos.  He dug it out of storage just for this photo.
